First Liberty is pleased to welcome Lisa Budzynski Ezell, who will be our joining our team as Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships in our Washington D.C. office. Lisa most recently served as Vice President and Director of the Federalist Society’s Lawyers Chapters.

We are excited to add Lisa to our team.”

The Federalist Society is one of America’s most prestigious and respected legal organizations. With more than 90,000 members and 300 chapters across the country, FedSoc brings together lawyers to engage in discourse about the state of the law and public policy in America.
Lisa served at FedSoc for more than 25 years, where she managed the organization’s network of lawyer chapters nationwide, oversaw leadership recruitment, chapter programming, state conferences and young lawyers’ activities.
One of her biggest accomplishments was expanding the network of lawyers. She pioneered a way to take their original model and apply it on a national level, enabling FedSoc to have a far greater reach.
“One of Lisa’s great achievements is taking the traditional lawyers chapter model and expanding it to include statewide and regional annual conferences, which have become a critical way for lawyers to interact and network,” said Dean Reuter, FedSoc’s Executive Vice President & Historian. “I don’t think anyone could have foreseen the popularity of this new way of gathering together the key assets of the organization – its members.”
“Lisa’s generosity, professionalism, and friendship have meant so much to me and to countless others,” said Peter Redpath, Vice President of the Students Division, who worked alongside her for 25 years. “Lisa has been one of the most energetic and dedicated colleagues I’ve ever known.
