Former White House Press Secretary Thanks First Liberty
Kayleigh McEnany, Fox News host and former Press Secretary during the Trump Administration, recently attended one of our events.
In an interview with President and CEO Kelly Shackelford, Kayleigh shared with many of our supporters about her journey to the White House and what it’s like being a person of faith at the highest levels of government.

11-Year-Old Client, Laura, Finds Inspiration in Shields of Strength Necklace
First Liberty is representing Laura, a 5th grader who wants to start an interfaith prayer club at Creekside Elementary just outside Seattle. But school officials denied her request, even though they allow many other non-religious clubs to meet.
Laura recently appeared on Fox News @ Night alongside attorney Kayla Toney.
Here’s something you likely didn’t know: Laura is wearing a necklace made by another one of our clients, Kenny Vaughan and Shields of Strength. It’s a faith-based company that graciously provides replica dog tags with inspirational Bible verses to active-duty service members, veterans, first responders and their families.
Shields of Strength gifted Laura a heart-shaped necklace inscribed with Scripture. How encouraging to see that a sweet, 11-year-old girl is also finding inspiration and courage through Shields of Strength!
