Despite 2020 being one of the most tumultuous years in recent history, people of faith in America have been incredibly resilient.
This is no surprise, of course. From the very beginning of our nation, Americans have turned to faith and prayer for encouragement and strength during times of difficulty.
And right now, as we battle together to overcome not only a health crisis, but also a constitutional crisis that threatens our God-given rights, we must recapture the rich heritage of faith and religious freedom that’s always been essential in our country.
Tune-in to Lift Up America: A special, online worship event that will livestream on Facebook on October 15th at 7:00 PM CST.
Lift up America will be hosted by Megan Alexander, an Emmy-nominated national news correspondent, who also appears on the top-rated news magazine television show Inside Edition, as well as on CBS’s Thursday Night Football.
Joining Megan will be a stellar line-up of musical guests, including Revenant Worship, along with a wide array of nationally-recognized speakers, which includes FLI’s President and CEO, Kelly Shackelford, who will discuss the impact of this upcoming election on the future of religious liberty.
Take a moment to watch the video invitation below from Lt. Col Allen West, a longtime First Liberty supporter and a key organizer of Lift Up America:
Lift Up America is a celebration of our country’s freedom, foundational values, the greatness of the Constitution and its protection of our cherished liberties.
This unique event is an opportunity to unite all people in prayer, praise and worship for our nation during one of the most defining times, as America still faces dire challenges brought on by a deadly pandemic as well as nationwide unrest, protests, and chaos.
With an all-time rise in attacks on religious liberty, Lift Up America is a call to stand strong together, as well as educate everyone (believers and non-believers alike) of how the upcoming election could impact the future of our Constitution and our foundational freedoms.
