Joining us for our most recent First Liberty Live! were three exclusive guests, all distinguished military veterans who served their country in uniform.

But in addition to being “mighty warriors” on the battlefield, these men also made a tremendous impact following their military service. They’ve made incredible contributions to the military community and beyond, reaching out to help improve the lives of service members, their families and the flourishing of our country as a whole.

To commemorate the upcoming 76th anniversary of D-Day, our guests this week included:

  • Chad Hennings,  former US Air Force fighter pilot with over 45 successful combat missions flying A10 jets. He is a professional athlete with a nine-year career in the NFL and three Super Bowl Championships with the Dallas Cowboys, as well as one of the most decorated college football players in NCAA history.
  • Dave Holmes, First Liberty’s Executive VP, COO and CFO. Previously, Dave worked on Wall Street for nearly 20 years managing portfolios for high net-worth investors. He served as an F-4 fighter pilot, special duty officer and diplomat in the U.S. Air Force for over 2 decades, and was stationed in Europe, Asia and the Middle East with his last post at the US Embassy in Tokyo, Japan.
  • Stephen Drum, the leading chief petty officer (LCPO) for the naval academy’s Warrior Toughness program. In his 27 years of experience, he’s led U.S. and foreign partner special operations forces on high-risk missions across the globe, including combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. He co-developed and taught “Warrior Toughness” training for The U.S. Navy, and has personally trained thousands of elite military soldiers and Navy SEAL candidates.

We’ve made this one-of-a-kind First Liberty Live! broadcast available to you below. In it, you’ll hear their insights about the role that faith plays in military preparedness, and why it’s so critical to protect religious freedom for chaplains and all service members.
