Madison Krause serves as Associate Counsel at First Liberty Institute.

Before joining First Liberty, Madison clerked for the Honorable William S. Stickman IV of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Prior to clerking, she gained commercial litigation experience at a boutique law firm, OGC Law, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Madison graduated from Duquesne University School of Law in 2023. While there, she served as a member of Duquesne’s Christian Legal Society and was a student member of the Federalist Society. She was also a recipient of Duquesne’s McGinley Public Service Fellowship for her summer judicial internship with the Honorable J. Nicholas Ranjan of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Madison received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Communication Studies from Grove City College in 2020. She was a Student Research Fellow for GCC’s Institute for Faith & Freedom, a Style Editor for the GCC Journal of Law & Public Policy, and a member of the Women’s Cross Country and Track teams.

Madison is admitted only in Pennsylvania. Supervised by a member of the D.C. Bar pursuant to D.C. Court of Appeals Rule 49(c)(8).
