Congratulations Danielle Runyan on Becoming Military Affairs Practice Group Chair
Please join us in congratulating Senior Counsel Danielle Runyan on becoming First Liberty’s Military Affairs Practice Group Chair.
Danielle earned her law degree from St. John’s University School of Law. She joined the First Liberty team in December of 2021, bringing nearly two decades of legal experience. This included serving as Senior Trial Counsel in the Commercial Litigation division of the Department of the Air Force for four years. Her continuous commitment to leadership and public service earned her the Department of Defense Spirit of Service Award in May of 2021. Danielle continues to proudly serve our nation as a member of the United States Air Force.
Danielle is an integral part of our legal team. She’s been at the forefront in helping defend our U.S. Navy SEAL clients and many other military service members.
We are tremendously proud of her accomplishments and work for First Liberty. Danielle, we’re praying for you and for many more successes as you take on this important leadership role.
Attorney Mike Berry Tapped to Lead Legal Fight for Election Integrity
After more than a decade of serving at First Liberty, Mike Berry, who served as our Vice President of External Affairs, Director of Military Affairs and Senior Counsel, is engaging in a new mission.
Mike will be leading a team for the rest of this year on election integrity. We consider Mike’s departure a “leave of absence” through the election and look forward to him returning at some time in the future.
Thank you, Mike, for blessing us for so many years with your legal acumen and your fighting spirit. More than just a work colleague, we consider you a dear friend. We pray God will continue using your talents and experience for His Glory and for the protection of our country.
