Tuesday is Election Day. Religious leaders and houses of worship can play a big role in equipping their members about the importance of being civically engaged.

According to a recent Barna study, more than 100 million religious Americans appear unlikely to vote. But that same study shows if churches taught that voting is a responsibility for Christians, one out of six likely non-voters would consider voting.

Barna also projects that five million additional Christians would likely vote if their pastor simply encouraged them to do so. If 100 million more people of faith showed up to the ballot box this election cycle, imagine the change and difference that could make for the future of our country!
