Because of our nine Supreme Court victories in recent years, decades of bad precedent have been overturned and the future of religious freedom is brighter than ever before. Together, we’re winning and restoring religious freedom all across our country.

A Day to Celebrate and Give Generously
First Freedom Day is also about looking forward. It’s an opportunity to give generously and securing more victories in the ongoing fight for religious freedom in America.
There is much to celebrate. But our opponents are relentless. Many of these groups are incredibly well-funded—and you can be sure their attacks will not stop anytime soon. Every effort and victory to advance is being met with resistance and lawsuits. Make no mistake. This is a fight that will only intensify.
Right now, at the state and local levels, we’re seeing an unprecedented rise in discrimination towards people of faith. Overzealous city leaders and school districts are attacking expressions of faith like never before.
Connecticut schoolteacher Marisol Arroyo-Castro is being threatened with termination. Why? For expressing her faith and displaying a small crucifix near her desk. First Liberty is suing the school district in federal court and reporting it to the EEOC over its wrongful and illegal actions.
Cities and government officials are criminalizing compassion. We’re fighting several major cases in federal court involving churches and ministries that were singled out for taking care of the most vulnerable:
Plus, we’re in the midst of intense legal battles to protect religious Americans in the workplace.
Employers and corporations continue to punish people of faith. Clients like Valerie Kloosterman, Lacey Smith and Marli Brown were all fired from their jobs because of their religious beliefs.
