There’s a joy and sense of celebration on the day that First Liberty gets to tell our clients they’ve won their case.
That joy is multiplied when we see Americans living out their faith and fulfilling their divinely inspired calling—all because that legal victory restored their rights and freedom.
About a year ago, First Liberty secured a huge win for Anchor Stone Christian Church in Southern California. After we filed a federal lawsuit, the city of Santa Ana agreed to allow the congregation to begin renovating a property it purchased for worship services.
Just last week, Anchor Stone held the first service at their new location! Pastor Steven Lee sent us a heartfelt message expressing his gratitude:
Dear All,
We are delighted to share some photos from our very first worship service held on October 18, 2026, at our new church home.
It was a truly unforgettable and deeply moving occasion, filled with joy, gratitude, and emotions beyond words. After such a long journey, witnessing this special moment was an incredible blessing to all of us.
Through these photos, we hope to share not only our joy but also our heartfelt appreciation to each of you for your support, encouragement, and contributions throughout this journey.
We are continuing to work on the interior decorations and final preparations for our church dedication ceremony on December 8. We look forward to sharing more photos with you once everything is completed.
With heartfelt gratitude and blessings,
Steven Lee
Thanks to First Liberty supporters like you, Anchor Stone has a space they can call home—a place where they can sing, pray and learn God’s Word. And not only does the congregation have a place where they can worship, they also have the means to fulfill their mission to spread the Gospel throughout Orange County, as well as serve and care for their community.
That’s the powerful impact First Liberty supporters make for our clients. You certainly made a life-changing outcome for everyone at Anchor Stone. It’s a victory for one congregation—but one that will touch the lives of so many people inside and outside the walls of the church.
