President Issues Executive Order Unveiling Actions that Support Religious Americans in Caring for America’s Foster Children
Washington, DC—President Donald Trump yesterday issued an executive order, “Fostering the Future for American Children and Families,” encouraging the inclusion of religious Americans in foster care programs.
Kelly Shackelford, President, CEO, and Chief Counsel to First Liberty said, “We applaud President Trump for recognizing the vital role the faith community plays in providing foster care. Religious Americans and organizations seeking to ensure that vulnerable children have a loving home should be welcomed and promoted, not discriminated against.”
