Statement Regarding Allegations Against Dad’s Place by the City of Bryan, Ohio
Plano, TX—The following statement may be attributed to Jeremy Dys, Senior Counsel for First Liberty:
“The latest statement by the City of Bryan—filled with half-truths and malicious innuendo designed to vilify the most desperate and downtrodden in their community—is simply the latest in a long line of aggressive actions by the City to bully this church into submission. Instead of supporting a church that is trying to help citizens going through some of the worst situations in their lives (and in the dead of winter), the city seems intent on intimidating the church into ending its ministry to vulnerable citizens or relocating it somewhere out of the Mayor Schlade’s sight. The Constitution and the law say otherwise.”
