Fifth Grader Holds First Prayer Club Meeting at School
Really encouraging news for our fifth-grade client, Laura.
She had her first prayer club meeting this week, and it was a success! 25 students attended, which is quite a good turnout for a Monday morning. Their first meeting also included two moms who said they are happy to help in the future. They plan to meet three more times this year, and they’re already making plans for next year.
Praise God for answered prayers!
If you haven’t already, watch Laura and attorney Kayla Toney on Fox News @ Night discussing the 11-year-old’s fight to start an interfaith prayer club at her school after previously having her request denied:
First Liberty Kicks Off Summer Internship and Fellowship Programs
We’re excited to announce the start of our summer internship and fellowship programs!
We’re welcoming an exceptional group of legal interns who will work alongside our team of attorneys. Over the summer, each will have a unique opportunity to learn directly from the best lawyers and legal experts in the country defending religious liberty.
Along with our legal interns, we’re excited to welcome several interns who will support our organization’s marketing efforts. Our Center for Religion, Culture and Democracy is also kicking off its summer-long Shaftesbury Fellowship. We’re excited to welcome those students for this exclusive, top-tier program.
