Thanks to the landmark Supreme Court victory we secured in Kennedy v. Bremerton School District, we now have more religious liberty in America than we had in the past 50 years!

Many Americans don’t realize it, but there’s an incredible shift happening right now. We’re witnessing the greatest comeback and the biggest positive change for religious freedom in more than a generation.

Hope is being renewed. Religious freedom is thriving. We have an opportunity at this very moment to restore and rebuild monuments, memorials and religious displays.

How often have you seen or heard about crosses being torn down? What about the many veterans memorials that have been desecrated for including a Scripture? What about Nativity displays outside a city hall or in a public park that were carted off into storage? How many times has a religious symbol or reference been scrubbed because someone claimed to be “offended”? There are simply too many examples to count.

Now, you can help reverse this widespread destruction. Now you can be a part of a national movement to rebuild and restore.

With the law now being more favorable to religious freedom and expression, local, state and federal governments can once again freely install historical public displays that have long been enjoyed by Americans.

Right now, we are asking you to take the First Freedom Holiday Challenge to help bring expressions of faith back to your public square.

You can become a #FaithBlazer by working with local officials in cities and towns across the nation to restore faith and religious freedom. From longstanding holiday traditions of Nativity scenes and menorahs, to In God We Trust signs and crosses honoring our fallen veterans, join our #FaithBlazer community and let’s bring history and tradition back to the public square!

Share your story and pictures on social media of how you participated in this year’s challenge. Use the following hashtags so we can find your post: #FirstFreedomChallenge, #RestoringFaithInAmerica, #RFIA, #FaithBlazer, and #NowYouCan

Here’s how YOU can restore faith where you live:

  • You can ask your city to put up a menorah for Hanukkah and a Nativity scene for Christmas.
  • You can encourage your local school district and other government buildings to display “In God We Trust” posters.
  • You can install veterans memorials with religious imagery.
  • You can ask your school board to open meetings with prayer.
  • Athletes can pray together before and after games.
  • Your student can lead a prayer club at school.
  • You can bring your Bible to school.

Americans from coast to coast are taking a stand. God has opened an incredible door, and those who’ve been robbed of their constitutional rights are now free to boldly live out their faith.

Now’s the time when we must go on offense to restore faith and religious freedom where they rightfully and legally belong.

All Americans have an opportunity to restore faith in America. However, different restoration methods and initiatives for historical displays, such as Ten Commandments displays and various faith building activities will have greater success in different communities.

We encourage that you contact us at RFIA@firstliberty.org for guidance in creating your plan and implementing ideas to restore faith in your community.
