This week, on Monday, January 25th, First Liberty’s volunteer network attorneys presented oral argument before the U.S. Court of Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. This is the second time the case has appeared before this appellate court to vindicate Coach Joe Kennedy’s constitutional right to live out his faith after he was fired from his high school coaching job for praying briefly and privately on the 50-yard line following each game.
Shortly after the oral argument, FLI’s President, CEO and Chief Counsel, Kelly Shackelford joined host Stuart Shepard in an exclusive episode to talk about what’s next for Coach Kennedy.
