Protecting the constitutional rights and religious freedom of American military service members is truly one of the great honors we have at First Liberty.
Our men and women in uniform face strife, war and adversity, yet they never give up on our country. And that’s why we at First Liberty will continue to answer the call to defend them whenever their rights come under attack.
We have stood with many willing to fight for freedom as well as their faith—brave heroes like U.S. Army Sergeant Phillip Monk, U.S. Air Force Col. Leland Bohannon and U.S. Navy Chaplain Wes Modder, among others. After serving honorably in their fields for the sake of our nation, they went on to fight for their constitutional rights against career-threatening opposition.
Although unseen, an equally resolute military spouse is often standing by the side of these courageous service members.
Today, on Military Spouse Appreciation Day, we take time to commemorate the military spouses who share in our service members’ heroic endeavors through selfless service, immeasurable contributions, and noble sacrifices.
Through their dedication to their loved ones, military spouses support the mission of our Armed Forces to defend our nation and preserve our liberty. We pay tribute to these extraordinary individuals who strengthen and enrich our fighting forces, our communities and our republic.
