New Supreme Court Poll Reveals Americans’ Clear Message to Congress
First Liberty President and CEO Kelly Shackleford wrote an op-ed for Fox News discussing recent polling indicating that Americans reject attacks on the Supreme Court, court-packing and “ethics” codes for justices:
“According to the Wall Street Journal, a remarkable 91% of Americans believe an independent judiciary is a crucial safeguard of our civil liberties. The just-released Mason-Dixon poll also shows that 72% of Americans believe that the politicization of the Supreme Court threatens judicial independence and 59% oppose attacks on the integrity of some of the justices…Americans see these threats and schemes for what they are: acts of pure political revenge that threaten the civil liberties of all Americans.”

Attorney Keisha Russell Speaks at WallBuilders Teachers Conference
First Liberty attorney Keisha Russell recently spoke at the WallBuilders Teachers Conference. This conference helps equip teachers from both public and private schools with principles and techniques that were used in early American education and thereafter for decades. Keisha shares more about her experience:
“With all the conflict in our education system about what we should and should not teach children, our educators need information. Thankfully, Wallbuilders provides conferences for teachers of faith every year, which includes a seminar on religious liberty. I’ve been fortunate to speak at this conference for a few years. Being a former teacher, I’m always willing to help the next generation of educators.”
WallBuilders is an organization dedicated to presenting America’s forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on the moral, religious and constitutional foundation on which America was built.
