First Liberty’s Center for Religion, Culture & Democracy recently wrapped up its 9th Annual D.C. Fellowship, and it was a tremendous success!
This year, we selected a group of 12 young, bright leaders for an immersive, all-expenses paid trip to our nation’s capital. The students came from top universities, with focuses ranging from law and history to math and natural science.

Over five days, they interacted with top scholars and legal minds, including Hadley Arkes and Garrett Snedecker of the James Wilson Institute, and former U.S. Rep. Bill Redmond. They heard from First Liberty’s Stephen Presley, attorneys Jordan Lorence and Jeff Mateer, who shared about the history of America, the Constitution and religious liberty cases.
The students also toured the Holocaust Museum, the U.S. Supreme Court, the Library of Congress, and the Washington Monument.

The top-notch educational programs offered through our Center for Religion, Culture & Democracy are crucial. This is how we can ensure America’s future lawyers, teachers, CEOs, politicians, business leaders and public servants have an opportunity to learn first-hand the value of religious freedom and be equipped to defend it. Developing a new generation of bold religious-freedom advocates is how First Liberty will continue winning in the courtroom and in our culture.
Thanks to your support, programs like the D.C. Fellowship are paying off in a huge way! Every year, we continue to inspire and equip hundreds of students who will soon lead our country and carry the great responsibility of preserving religious liberty for all.
