Can pastors endorse candidates? Are houses of worship allowed to invite candidates to speak? Can my church help register voters or serve as polling places?

This week on First Liberty Live, our President & CEO Kelly Shackelford explains why people of faith should be involved in our political process. He dives into the legal rights that religious leaders and houses of worship have during election season.

Election 2024: The Future of Faith and Religious Freedom Are at Stake

America’s founders made religious freedom our First Freedom for a good reason. It is the foundational freedom for all of our constitutional freedoms. And if our first freedom falls, all of our freedoms will fall.

That’s why year’s election is so critical to our nation. Now more than ever we need to know where candidates stand on their support of religious freedom. The future of faith and religious liberty is on the ballot.

From now until Election Day, First Liberty is educating people of faith and all Americans about how they can make a difference with their vote. Voting this November is a must!
