Lisa Ezell joined First Liberty in July 2025 as Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships. In this role, she uses her deep knowledge of the conservative legal community to foster relationships between First Liberty and attorneys, students, and other allies motivated to defend religious liberty for all Americans.
She previously served as Vice President and Director of the Federalist Society’s lawyers chapters. In that role, she directed a growing network of over 130 lawyers chapters nationwide, including oversight of leadership development, programming, membership recruitment, clerkship and career mentorship, and young lawyer activities. Federalist Society chapters are now active in all fifty states and Puerto Rico. Lisa also launched over twenty annual state and regional conferences while at the Society, which featured United States Supreme Court justices, state and federal elected officials and jurists, and other leading practitioners and opinion leaders. She also represented the Federalist Society at external conferences and coalition meetings.
Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Mary’s College in Political Science and History and a Master of Public Policy degree from George Mason University. She is a member of the American Enterprise Institute’s Leadership Network as well as the Philadelphia Society.
