Dys says the purpose of the First Liberty Briefing is to recall the stories that have shaped America’s religious liberty. On the First Liberty Briefing, Dys looks at the stories, cases, people, and laws that have made America the world’s leader in protecting religious liberty.
“We’ve got the opportunity to learn from our rich history,” Dys said, “to understand that America has a strong commitment to religious liberty. The threats to religious liberty are undeniable, but we can defend religious liberty by simply using the freedom that we have through our laws and the constitution. This is the story of religious liberty.”
