This New York village has been discriminating against Jewish people for 30 years

Yet another story about religious freedom under threat: For 30 years, the Village of Airmont in New York has been systematically discriminating against people of the Jewish faith.

The U.S. Department of Justice filed suit against the village in 1991 because it was purposely incorporated with the goal of excluding Orthodox Jews with zoning restrictions that would prevent them from worshipping. Orthodox Jews cannot drive on the Sabbath, so they have to live within walking distance of their worship space.

Jeremy Dys of First Liberty Institute joined “The Morning Blaze” in the studio today to talk about this important case and the continued religious freedom fight.
