Statement Regarding Kristen Clarke, Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights
Washington, D.C.—The following statement regarding Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke may be attributed to Hiram Sasser, executive general counsel for First Liberty Institute:
The job of fairly enforcing our nation’s civil rights laws is extraordinarily important and must be done with integrity and fairness, something Kristen Clarke has completely failed to do. She has weaponized the civil rights division of DOJ against religious Americans, including green lighting the prosecution of a dad who simply exercised his First Amendment rights as a Catholic and protected his young son from Leftist abuse, refusing to protect pro-life pregnancy centers from violence, and prosecuting religious Americans seeking to help pregnant moms. She is someone Americans cannot trust.
