Nationally-syndicated radio host Todd Starnes spoke with Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, and Kelly Shackelford, president and CEO of First Liberty Institute, about the retirement of Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy and the implications it will have going into midterm elections.
“It has political implications, it has practical implications for the issues that we care about. One of the biggest things this is going to do is it’s going to bring back to the forefront in the minds of voters the importance of the Supreme Court and elections. As voters go to the polls this fall, it’s going to be front and center. The Supreme Court makes such important decisions and here we have a President that is putting constitutionalists on to the court,” Perkins said.
