As Americans, we may think religious oppression is something that happens in China or North Korea, or in other places too far away to affect our own freedoms. In this edition, we’ll examine 5 recent images from right here the U.S. that pose an important question: Is America is already trotting down the road to religious oppression and tyranny?

After the U.S. Navy issued an order banning troops from attending indoor religious services, First Liberty responded by sending a letter on behalf of our client Major Dan Schultz, asking for accommodation so that he could attend and lead worship at his church. Within one week, the Navy updated its policies, delivering a timely victory for religious freedom.
