Long Time Federalist Society Chapters Director Lisa Ezell Joins First Liberty Institute
Experienced leader brings unique expertise to religious liberty law firm.
Washington, D.C.—First Liberty Institute today announced that Lisa Ezell, former Vice President and Director of the Federalist Society’s Lawyers Chapters, will join the religious liberty legal firm as Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships in late July.
“Lisa’s wealth of experience and innovative ideas will greatly complement our incredible legal team,” said Kelly Shackelford, President, CEO, and Chief Counsel for First Liberty. “As we work to defend religious liberty for all Americans, it is vital that we have the best talent in all areas of our firm. We are excited to add Lisa to our team.”
Ezell said, “I am incredibly thrilled to join the team at First Liberty in their fight to defend religious liberty for all Americans. I cannot adequately convey how honored I am for this opportunity and look forward to helping the firm grow its impact.”
In her role at the Federalist Society, Ezell managed the organization’s network of lawyers chapters nationwide, including oversight of leadership recruitment, chapter programming, state conferences, and young lawyers activities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Mary’s College in Political Science and History and a Master of Public Policy from George Mason University.
